Cervinvest Capital, an independent investment firm, announces its investment in Ignimission, a French software vendor of a SaaS platform automating governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and identity security processes with natively embedded AI features, alongside the founders and management team.
Founded in 2017, Ignimission operates in a fast-growing market shaped by an ever-evolving regulatory landscape (DORA, NIS2, AI Act, ISO 27001) and large corporations’ growing exposure to cybersecurity threats, particularly with the rise of AI-driven non-human identities, which requires them to continuously strengthen identity management and security. The company, which generates close to €6m in revenue, an EBITDA margin above 20%, and growth exceeding 25%, supports teams within large organizations in the operational management of their most complex obligations.
Ignimission structures its offering around two core business lines:
- Risk and compliance automation and orchestration for GRC teams, through the Ignimission Maestro solution. It integrates with existing tools, automates governance workflows, continuously generates compliance evidence, and ensures automatic remediation of detected risks and non-compliances;
- Identity security, through two dedicated cybersecurity solutions:
- Ignimission Protec for CyberArk, a solution dedicated to privileged access management (PAM), complementing the solution published by the sector leader, CyberArk. Protec unifies multi-tenant environments and automates the account lifecycle, notably through automatic remediation of anomalies;
- Ignimission Identity, the automation and orchestration platform for teams in charge of identity security, covering the full spectrum: from privileged access management (PAM) to comprehensive identity control — access (IAM), governance (IGA) and beyond.
Cervinvest’s entry into Ignimission’s capital, alongside the founding executives and key managers, marks the start of a new phase of accelerated growth. The company aims to establish itself as the reference player in the operational orchestration of risk, compliance, and access security for large accounts, notably through its natively embedded AI features.
